NEW WORKS & WORKS IN PROGRESS

For Christmas I gave to my Dad a bottle of vodka, and decided to include a painting of it as well. This seems to be a new direction I'm working towards, with a clearer, less "washed out" style, but still loose and expressive... I'm looking forward to creating more work in this style!

I've been trying to develop a new style that translates the line work of my smaller sketches to a larger surface. After some of the experimentation shown below, I've decided to go with the style shown above (a work in progress). This style attempts to show the spirit of the original sketch line, if not the line itself...
